Everything we create is made with intention - from the stories behind our collections, the fit of our garments, the photoshoot direction and the little details in each piece.​

We love clothes. It's as simple as that.​

We love the process - designing, producing samples, refining details and bringing a final product to life. But our favourite part? Definitely shooting and styling our creations!​

We don't create garments just for the sake of releasing something new or based on trends, we make clothes that we love, garments that we're proud of - and if you love them too, that's just a bonus!

LOVE FOR THE GARMENT

In a world consumed by fast fashion, we design with the goal of creating garments that last. We pride ourselves on the quality of our pieces and the time that goes into making them. We take the time and effort to source high-quality fabrics and create garments that are built to last.

Creating really cool pieces is important, but so is comfort. We want our garments to look good, feel good and be the pieces you reach for again and again.

LOVE FOR WHERE WE COME FROM

As a Māori and Samoan-owned brand, culture naturally influences a lot of what we do.

We started Kwest because we love streetwear, but we also wanted to create pieces that reflected who we are and where we come from.

That influence extends further than just our garments. Our photoshoots, campaigns, storytelling and many of the things we create are inspired by the experiences we grew up with - playing pick-up sticks, gathering around a hāngi, and spending time with whānau/ aiga.

Kwest has given us a platform to showcase our culture through something we love - streetwear.

LOVE FOR THE PEOPLE

Kwest has always been about the people.

We love creating clothes, but what makes it special is the community that has formed around the brand. Without the people who support what we do, there would be no Kwest.

We want to be more than just a clothing brand. We want it to be an experience. Our photoshoots, content, emails, events, packaging and even customer service is all intentional, with a lot of thought put into every part of the brand.

Giving back is a big part of our kaupapa too. Through various collections, we've been able to support causes and organisations that are important to us, including initiatives focused on Māori and Pasifika health, education, mental wellbeing, environmental protection and communities in need.
